This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in multi-site operations, budgeting, cost control and project coordination while helping keep our restaurants running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate maintenance and repairs: Arrange planned preventative maintenance (PPM) visits and reactive repairs with contractors and restaurant teams, keeping the operations diary up to date.
  • Manage contractor visits: Communicate scheduled works to site teams, ensure management attendance where required and follow up on outstanding jobs, snagging and remedial works.
  • Support cost control: Assist with reviewing quotations, invoices and maintenance expenditure, checking costs and confirming completed works.
  • Maintain records and compliance: Help keep compliance documentation, asset registers and maintenance records accurate and up to date.
  • Visit restaurant sites: Carry out monthly site visits to review maintenance requirements, completed works and outstanding issues.
  • Support project coordination: Work with the maintenance team to track planned works, coordinate contractors and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed.

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and confidence working with different teams and contractors.
  • An interest in budgeting, cost control and project management.
  • Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
  • A practical approach to problem-solving and following up outstanding tasks.
  • Some knowledge of hospitality equipment and maintenance requirements.
  • Previous maintenance experience and knowledge of Access Maintain are essential.

What You’ll Gain

  • Experience working across multiple restaurant sites and with our Central Team.
  • Development of budgeting, commercial awareness and cost-control skills.
  • Hands-on experience in project management and contractor coordination.
  • Exposure to facilities management and maintenance systems.
  • An incremental Tronc supplement in recognition of the additional responsibilities.
